Dear Pats Nation,

For everyone on here who is scared to play certain teams or thinks that we have turned into the Detroit Lions, please read below.

  • Our 4 losses have come from a combined 29 points (7.25 points per game)
  • 2 of our 4 losses came in Overtime (including the one that we elected to NOT have the ball)
  • In our 4 losses, we are still averaging 21 points per game (24 if you discount Miami)
  • With Edelman playing, we have not lost this year
  • With Edelman playing, we averaged 38 points per game

For Those Who Think Edelman is in a Wheelchair

For Those Who Think Brady is in a Wheelchair

Again, chill out people. We are playing a Chiefs team who yes, has won 11 straight (against garbage competition). It will take a strong effort from our guys this week, but we will pull it out.

Should be a great fight this weekend. I expect us to come out on top, and crowd to be into it.

We're going to absolutely destroy the Chiefs. The stage is set.

Home field.
Two game skid.
Opponent who embarrassed us last time.
As healthy as we've been post Dion Lewis going to IR.
Maclin injured.
Stephen Jackson playing in his first playoff game since 2005.

There's no way that this isn't an absolute slaughter.

I do not care is we slaughter them or win by one point, all I want to see is them advance to the next round..

This is why teams hate us [not that i care]. Most injures in the league and we only end up 12-4 with a bye.

I was thinking about that today - most teams would KILL to be in our position, hell some teams fans just make the POs once every few years and they get all ****y, its pretty funny... Amazing how incredibly spoiled we are. Carlin Bless the Patriots.

I'm not worried any more than usual, but their competition hasn't been that bad. Three wins against playoff teams in that stretch. Not to mention they're allowing 12.5 ppg during the streak. Only two games allowing over 17 (20 to OAK, 22 to BUF). They've also forced a TO in 13 straight games with 25 TOs in those games.

No need to downplay how well the defense has been playing. It's probably the best defense in the NFL right now.

I don't think we will blow them out but I do think we have what it takes to win. Despite our issues, we are still 12-4. Should have been 14-2 considering 2 of the losses were in overtime and very frustrating. Now we are getting healthy and have had extra time to prepare. The Chiefs are good but they are just riding on momentum and its about to run out.

I'm pinning this one.

just as discussions on the KC boards are envisioning, the Pats offense will rape the Chiefs defense ...... repeatedly

Anyone got any of those cool "pump you up" videos of Patriot highlights?

Added vids to the OP

Yes but Roeth didn't play. Manning in the 2nd game sucked and Hoyer pooped his pants.

In Sept AR, Dalton and Manning did very well vs this D.

We'll see what TB12 can bring as KC hasn't faced a QB anywhere close to that quality since September.

I can't agree with that at all. They've played Rivers twice (4700yds, 29TD-13INT), Carr twice (4000yds, 32TD-13INT), Stafford (4250yds, 32-13). None of those guys had a rating better than 80 against KC. 4 pass TDs against 8 INTs in those 5 games.

Stafford, Carr and Rivers are decent QBs on losing teams.

Stafford was playing terribly until they brought in Jim Bob after the KC game. I've never been a big fan of Rivers. Carr is a solid prospect. Still young.

I put Ben, AR and the year Dalton was having before he got hurt as a notch above those guys.

TB12 is a different cat in the playoffs than all of them.
