Pats should've never drafted him for that alone. It was a bizarre pick.
The other gripe about him getting drafted was that he wasn't any good. Sorry, but it was a bad look for the Pats as that's all the media spoke about when he was drafted. We had a big thread on here for a while discussing this and the first thing the media said when he got released was his controversial tattoo. Had he made the team and started missing kicks, media was go right back to his tattoo even though it has nothing to do with his play.perhaps the pats shouldn’t have drafted him because he didn’t prove to be very good, but his intent in getting the tattoo was not one of racism so it’s irrelevant.
