Justin Rohrwasser apologized for his tattoo

Yet he still has critics

Pats should've never drafted him for that alone. It was a bizarre pick.

He should never have had to apologize for his tattoo. Well, pretty much every tattoo outside of certain group affiliation tats (military comes immediately to mind) should be apologized for, but I mean beyond the general.

perhaps the pats shouldn’t have drafted him because he didn’t prove to be very good, but his intent in getting the tattoo was not one of racism so it’s irrelevant.

The other gripe about him getting drafted was that he wasn't any good. Sorry, but it was a bad look for the Pats as that's all the media spoke about when he was drafted. We had a big thread on here for a while discussing this and the first thing the media said when he got released was his controversial tattoo. Had he made the team and started missing kicks, media was go right back to his tattoo even though it has nothing to do with his play.

I hope this guy proves the doubters wrong. I would say, not too many have benefited more than that player from covid 19 practice squad additions and rules. He would of been cut flat out for his abysmal performance from any other team and probably not brought back.

So many good players available with that 5th round pick. Again, hope gets his schit together and becomes a good kicker.

We really do not know how good or if he sucks, to bring him back to the PS and keep the competition going with Folk is telling.. if he told the world the tattoo was none of their business, but he had it removed..

These are the type of guys who are held back by having 0 preseason games..

We all do stupid things when we are kids, but most of us stop doing it, stay tuned to see how Rohrwasser either develops or flops..

That was not the media. It was you pushing a false narrative and making a big deal out of nothing. It was utterly ridiculous. The normal person these days has pretty gross tatts. It was you claiming he was wearing long sleeves all camp. Come to find out, all the stuff you wrote was wrong. The Pats like his power. He is a rookie that had very short prep this season. There were rumors of an injury. He has a great opportunity on the PS to now work on accuracy and technique with coaches all year. I suspect he will be the Pat's kicker next year.

Bill should start catering to media whims so the Pats most fragile sad sack fans don’t get overly triggered by irrelevant roster narratives

BB knows what a 3% is and means.

Rohrwasser did not wear sleeves playing football.
