I saw that. It seems to mean that he isn't going anywhere (because won't most, if not all, jobs be filled before the end of the playoffs) but who knows.

I mean he's runnin' when he should be passin' and he's passin' when he should be runnin'. The **** IS IT with this guy?

I think teams interested in him would be willing to wait until the week after the conference championship game.

I look forward to reading the myriad posts telling us that this proves McDaniels is a lousy O.C., is not head coach material, and should be working at Walmart.

This board is far less full of "hall of fame" coaches than the other fan forums. The good thing about being a pats fan is even if you know alot about football you dont know 1/10 as much as BB or youd be working in the nfl. Alot of things the coaching staff does i dont always understand. But bottom line.. BB hired Josh back.. Tom brady loves him. Im guessing thats enough of an endorsement for most fans. Not to mention i dont think any of us on this forum have superbowl rings for coaching.

There are any number of threads bashing the O.C. that disprove your theory, with regards to Patsfans.com. When it comes to grading coordinators, this place is no different from any other.

Maybe your right... I guess this place is a more game to game basis cause we win so much.. Most other teams dont, so they are calling for the coaches heads all year. Josh seemed to do a fine job when we won the superbowl and we were healthy we we also unstopable. Dont know why anyone would get worked up given that. However i know you are right.. People do

Every team's coordinators suck, according to some significant portion of the fan base. It comes with the job.

I wonder if a deep run will cost mcdaniels or patricia a job,

I feel like Joe judge has been the target the last few weeks, probably blaming him for that ghost miss against the jets

For the old timers here...remember the NEM era....poster NEM bashed OC Charlie Weiss unmercifully despite:
1) working with a neophyte QB
2) tailoring a game plan to best suit his neophyte QB
3) scoring points practically every first possession of every game
4) play calling winning drives in countless comebacks during the first wave of Lombardi trophies
5) squeezing the most out of unheralded players like Troy Brown, Antoine Smith, Wiggy (lol),etc
6) winning 3 trophies in 4 years
7) developing the future G.O.A.T.
8) etc.
Weiss was the best at keeping defenses off balance and Brady absolutely loved the guy........FIRE the hack

Charlie did call plays that sometimes made absolutely no sense to the observer but clearly the body of work justified it.
