Joe Milton is using virtual reality technology to gain QB experience

He just looked so deficient in being a NFL QB.
Usually the gadget QB is a mobile runner who brings in some change of pace. I would not take the ball out of Maye’s hands for Milton. He can do everything better. Unless we needed a 80 yard Hail Mary
If he can get on the field as a TE, the picture changes. The gadget plays will be much tougher to spot, and breaking out one of them during a playoff game could turn the tide. But no one can convince him right now. When the alternative is leaving the league, maybe he’ll change course. Or he’ll Tebow.

The only thing that I ever watched on Netflix (and it was courtesy of a neighbor letting me use their account), was the 1st Season of The Punisher. I found it to be very entertaining and very much like the way the character of Frank Castle (The Punisher) was meant to be.
You never saw the Brady roast?

I don't watch a lot of shows but for me Netflix is worth it just for the stand up specials.

Agree with you there

Give Milton a couple of years to see how far he's come. He can sit and learn before he plays in the NFL: that was the original plan for Maye. But some guys are faster learners. I am not going to boldly say Milton will never become anything in the NFL...we don't know that. Did anybody think Mr Irrelevant Purdy would become a very good player?? We took Zappe over him in that same Draft: again we don't know only time will tell.
Purdy would have gotten killed here!

Milton is a development project. Chances he becomes anything more are very low.

Might as well experiment with this.
Joe Milton will be haunting us for most of the 2030s should he not still be on the team.

Is the team better or worse in VR?

He doesn't. He's going to be a superstar. Unfortunately it will probably be for another team.
I guess we'll just have to disagree on this one; I saw a guy with a cannon arm but no accuracy or touch.

He’s made great progress “learning to call plays in the huddle”? Good lord, make him a TE already: QB isn’t for him.
Maye had to do the same thing, as he had very little experience calling plays in the huddle, too. Maye just got waayyy more reps and attention for development (as he should).

As for playing another position, mentally, he's always been a Run-Last QB. His coaches in college were always trying to get him to run more, but he did get some significant injuries during running plays throughout his college career.

I watched every snap of his last year. Imho, he was able to read defenses and makes good decisions (which was backed up by Phil Simms' analysis). He has great leadership skills, smarts (graduated in 3 years), and one of the strongest arms in history. I mentioned in my pre draft analysis that I think the dude's floor is a very long term backup like a Tyrod Taylor. With his attitude, if he stays healthy, there's always gonna be someone who's willing to give him a shot. Getting paid millions to hold a clipboard sounds like a pretty sweet gig.
