He could have just gone with the 'what a sh!t show' line and saved himself a lot of typing, but I guess a full scale venting session was what he was after...

The pitchforks are really out over at Gang Green Forum.

Zach better head back to his mom's cozy house and wait for her next book club meeting...

Rehabbing Punky might be an insurmountable task. It seemingly boils down to his entitled attitude/lack of competitiveness/questionable work ethic. All the coaching in the world won't make a player WANT to be great. But he likely will be back next season, probably Caucasian as well and we'll enjoy the follies once again!

Yes, the Jete Organization over-estimated both themselves and the player.

So much delicious schadenfreude to be had going forward.

Either:

(A) Da Jete do what they did with Darnold: find some other sucker to take him off their hands, eat the cap hit, and deal with the unavoidable truth that they blew the #2 pick and their front office is a cesspool of incompetence. After the Darnold incident, I doubt anyone will give them bupkis for Punky.

Or:

(B) Keep him on the team, fully knowing the other players and the entire fan base is done with him, undermining the credibility of the GM and the coaching staff. He'll be a living daily reminder of suckage. Chances are he won't care, but surely the other players and the fans will.

Meanwhile, in Gotham City:

Statistically, the offense has run more efficiently with White, Flacco and even Streveler than with Wilson. Offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur declined to comment on why.

I honestly think punkys career is done, at least with the jete. He has a million dollar arm and a ten cent brain. Going to NY was to much for him to handle with his sense of entitlement, his milf mother, and the NY media.

Random comment from the GG forum:

The Jets have fallen apart after a (6-3) and (7-4) start. Last night was the worst of it all. I thought nothing would be lower than the second Patriots game, but I was wrong.

Dude has a short memory. Either that, or he's totally erased the Buttfumble game from his memory. By any standard, that's as low as you can go.

Darnit is doing OK in Carolina, actually. Too bad the Jete don't play them this year along with facing Gee-no! next week. Imagine Punky being benched followed by consecutive losses to those two. In an alternate universe that is happening, climaxed by Jete fans jumping en masse off the George Washington Bridge.

This used to be one of my facourite threads, but now, not so much. With the performances the Patriots have turned in this season (especially the Raider lateral fiasco), I feel we are no longer in a position to make fun of any other team. BB has turned us into the Jets this season.

Sacrilege! This guilt-ridden self-flagellating among Patriots fans when things go a little sideways makes no sense. There is no comparison to the Jete so don't even try going there. It would take 50 more years of wandering the wilderness of dysfunction for that narrative to merit even a toehold.

FO, and that is not Front Office.

Again, again, and again. The Jete suckage thread has nothing to do with the current state of the Patriots.

You are looking for the "We are no longer allowed to make fun of the Jets" thread which is currently heading to the worthless thread graveyard

I respectfully disagree. Until we right our ship, I think we best stay humble.

You either are a closet Jete fan or a late-comer Patriots fan. Either way, your humble masochism will be better received elsewhere.
