It's not that hard to get things started, it's hard to keep them going. What are they going to do now that they don't have lots of draft picks, mostly in the beginning of each round? Now they'll have a more typical number of picks at more typical places in the draft, and have to deal with the fact that some of the better picks they've made in the recent past will either want to leave or want to get paid, or might decline due to major injury or normal wear and tear. Bim will want to keep steering resources towards the D since his scheme depends on athleticism. Missing on Punky and Messy Bacon really hurt their team building exercise, and may cost Bim and Doofus their jobs.
