"Although Adam Gase announced Monday that Winters re-dislocated his shoulder, my understanding is that the veteran right guard actually had been playing in excruciating pain for quite some time after tearing the entire front part of his shoulder in the preseason. Winters, probably the toughest player in the locker room, was advised to have surgery when the pain intensified, but opted to play the first nine games with a brace. Winters, who has started 79 career games in seven seasons for Gang Green, is set to make $7.5 million in 2020. The Jets can clear all of that money from their salary cap by parting ways after this season."
This after Osemele is forced to play with a destroyed shoulder, then gets cut when he exposes the Jete medical staff. What is it with the Jete making injured guys play? That team is a freaking meat grinder.
Your angst is misplaced. Thomas still is hampered by the same hamstring injury he had when he left the Patriots and is not putting up big numbers with New Jersey. Gordon only can run two routes, is slow, and will flame out with Seattle soon enough. Sanu already is better than both those guys put together. When I see D Thomas making plays for that Team and Gordon now not with us not like it wasn't a possibility. I wonder what could have been.
So, so Jetsy! Owner praises the coach and commits to him for another year at the SAME TIME said coach loses the locker room due to absurd fines and forcing players to play through injuries.
Gase just looks like an arrogant ****. He almost seems like he thinks he's a 10 time SB champ. Easily one of my least favorite coaches rn.So, so Jetsy! If only Seinfeld were still running, George Costanza would be working for the Jets...a combination of the NY Yankees (for sports) and Kruger (a horribly mismanaged company.)
