But why compare Sheldon to Kearse? What we really got in return was the 2nd round pick and savings of 8mil in cap space. Kearse was just an added benefit who played well with only a week of practice.

The second round pick is meaningless because it will be made by the Jete front office. Another safety, bet your life on it! Kearse is a player who was coached by an NFL actual coaching staff and was part of a NFL team that won a Super Bowl. The kind of player one wants to build a team culture.
