A disillusioned fan would be one who previously labored under a delusion about his team, but now has faced reality. So a "disillusioned" JETE fan is a bit of an oxymoron, as any grasp of reality is antithetical to fanhood for the JETE.

The general consensus is the Jets would tank for Darnold. Well aside from the fact that the Jets aren't tanking, the more I see of Darnold, the less impressed I am. In fact, I would highly advise him to stay in college another year. He reminds me of Sanchez: Totally not ready for prime time.

I was once told that Jetsfan278546 wasn’t posting in this thread in order to hijack it but instead posted in order to talk Pats-Jete football.
And yet, I just went through all 4 pages of the Jete pregame thread....a thread which has been open since Oct 7...and didn’t see a single post from him. As in, not one. Nada. Zero. Zilch.
He did make a prediction in the “guess the score “ thread....absent any of the rationales he insists on injecting in this thread.
Not my forum. Not my thread.
But don’t tell me he is not deliberately hijacking this thread.

Just finished watching the game. That was such a well called game that I thought it might have been officiated by the best there ever was or ever will be, Walt Coleman.

The Jete still suck (of course) but they don't suck as much as I thought they would. Then again, they couldn't suck that much.
