if this report is true, they know they have no chance to get Watson and have chosen to draft Wilson and move Darnold to the highest bidder.

That highest bidder will not be the Patriots even if it was the Patriots. So, the only implication of this development is it might make another QB available for the Patriots.

Patriots should move up 1st round to try to get Trey Lance. Then the next 2 years build around him. He could be the QB for next 10yrs.

I wouldn't rely on the teams drafting ahead of us not needing a QB because someone always trades up, especially for a 1st round QB. They'll probably be gone by our pick no matter who takes them.

the Jets should then be able to trade 3 first round picks this year and one next year to Houston for Watson.

San Fran can trade jimmy to Indy for a first round pick,

Wentz is traded to Chicago for a first and folk.

Jacksonville takes Lawrence.

Atlanta takes fields.

Carolina takes Wilson,
