The only WR currently on the Pats roster with the size and physical ability to make these type of catches regularly is Gordon and Harry made these type of plays, or better, all the f-ing time in college. What he does in those two plays is exactly what the Pats offense needs right and IF that is the type of WR he can be week to week he will absolutely make an impact.
Time will tell but there sure as sh*t drafted him at the end of round 1 with the expectation that he would contribute in a big way this year and even with the lost time I suspect that BB and JMD disagree on your no/low impact prediction.
He played a few downs, was targeted twice, made two catches for 36 yards including one jump ball over the defender catch. I would not equate that to meh.The thing is....
He didn't look particularly good in the few preseason plays he played, and that small sample of "meh" is being wildly overrated. In the meantime, he's missing week after week of game time, as a rookie WR, which means that his development is being curtailed. It's insane to pencil him in as anything but a low/no impact player. Anything he gives is gravy. That doesn't mean he's already a bust, or that he'll never be an NFL level player, or anything like that. It just means that the circumstances are what they are.
It would be great it he returned to the field and was a monster, and it's not impossible that such could happen. It's just very unlikely.

BS is pretty heavy to summarize a post that, at it's worst is pessimistic, but really just being honest. History is a good thing to reference here, which shows the trend of rookie WR's having an incredibly difficult time here.
There were other names getting more attention in camp over him, he was described as being all over the place - making fantastic catches, dropping easy ones, producing one day, doing nothing the next - and then he gets a bad injury, hasn't built that Brady trust that is rarely afforded to rookies, and more.
It's not BS if it's true, and you can literally verify everything Deus listed.
That being said, it's okay to be overly optimistic about a binky of yours, or have high hopes. Just doesn't mean you need to call someone's factually backed commentary as BS.

N'Keal Harry goes over defender for catch
The BS that I was referring to was the part of his quote that I put in bold, which is why I put it in bold. It is, in fact, total BS that “he didn’t look very good in the few plays that he played” or that those two catches in his limited snaps were “meh”.
I do give him credit for an “at best pessimistic” post. That’s more optimistic that 90% of his posts.
Please elaborate on the incredibly difficult time first round WR talent has here.
Everyone mentions history but ignores the projected talent difference between Harry and most of the other rookie WR that has come through Foxboro.

Yes, a complaint about the scarcity of Harry's preseason plays is valid. But it isn't even debatable that he flashed quite a bit in the few plays he had.
Of course it's debatable. What is wrong with you people that you can't just acknowledge the obvious about the kid?
