I like the 52-man roster; who is your most likely to be cut?

I really like this 52-man roster (plus DTR Tavai). I would like to see us add an OG. I suppose the addition could come elsewhere,

Who is your #53 player who could be cut is a heartbeat (and perhaps, probably be signed to the Practice Squad.

For me, the choice is clear: Pharms. Tonga, Gregory and Farmer are plenty for me, with Pharms and whoever on the Practice Squad.

I don't know enough about Gregory, but him and Pharms would be the obv choices to me. Pharms had good moments.....2 years ago.

As a waiver claim Gregory can’t be cut for several weeks from now.

Huh??? I never heard of that, sounds fishy. They must be paid for a minimum of 3 weeks, I don't think that means they can't be cut.

I'd add someone like Westover to the list if they pickup a similar player.

I believe you are confusing waiver claims, where a team inherits the existing contract of a player as is, and signing a player off another team's PS. The latter requires that you keep(**) the player for three weeks to minimize the likelihood of a "pump and dump"; the former does not.

(**) Strictly speaking, teams can cut/trade a PS player before the three weeks are up, but the player still gets paid and must take up a spot on the 53 for those three weeks.

There are lots of players who we might hope to upgrade to a similar player.

I suspect that Pharms and Gregory are the primary ones that are most vulnerable. My hope is that the new OG on the Practice Squad will have good 3-week trial, after which he will be put on the 53 instead of Pharms (or instead of Gregory if he doesn't work out).

You’re correct, I was mistaken. Gregory was claimed off waivers so he has to be on the Pats’ active list for two days.

Lowe. Who else would take him lol?
