How do you beat Steelers

when...
a) you don't have a running game andyou go against #1 run defense ?
b) your QB is slowly morphing into Donovan McNabb clone, throwing off target,at receiver's feet or above their heads ?.
c) you still stink on the road ?

the best way is to out score them.

the strategy to beat the steelers bb has used is to throw the ball so the RB's will be useless in this game. BB has said it before himself that you cant run the ball on the steelers.
The steelers can be passed on but pats unfortunately pats need another decent wideout who can run routes and catch passes.

You mean that famous " 21 and done " game plan when Kevin Faulk ammassed 4 yards for the entire game ?

You Disgust Us....

Easy. Just put Giselle on the sidelines and Rothlesberger will be sure to get suspended before the game gets well underway.

A. This actually might be advantageous. You can't run the ball anyway against them, so it's not like you are wasting a strong part of your game.

B. You don't deserve to have Tom Brady as your quarterback. He actually rebounded to play pretty darn well after a bad start. Lots of drops all over the field. No running game. Most QBs will turn those circumstances into multiple interceptions.

C. 90% of NFL teams stink on the road. The Pats are 2-2 this year with decent wins over the Phins and Bolts.

D. So what if the Patriots don't beat the Steelers? Pittsburgh has a veteran team that has been together for a long time and won two Super Bowls. That stadium will be insane, and the Steelers have been seeking revenge on Brady for five years. I'd just like to see the Patriots play their best game, meaning no unforced turnovers, limited execution problems (that aren't forced by Pittsburgh), and some poise. I expect them to lose, but this is a young team that needs to gain some experience against some strong opponents.

Unfortunately that wont work, the would just use Leftwich. What QB hasn't looked like an all pro against our defense?

Well I hope Bill does the right thing and sends over the forfeit letter so we can just focus on Indy.

if you are referring to the 2004 regular season game then why dont you go a little ahead and look at the postseason game as well and how they beat them. just by throwing deep with branch and givens

There is no way the Pats will beat the Steelers, just mark this game down in the loss column right now.

If we don't make mistakes then we can win. Don't turnover the ball and don't drop as many passes. These are simple mistakes that decrease with experience and practice. As long as we have the talent (which we do) then we can win. BB will get us prepared for Sunday. You better believe practice all week will revolve around working out these mistakes.

Also;

There is no way the Pats will beat the Steelers, just mark this game down in the loss column right now.

You are terrible

This forum is horrible because of "fans" like that.

You know, if this team were the 2008 Lions, I could see posts like that.

But, a 6-2 team? Really?

Umm,no.Corey Dillon made our running game respectable, hell he scored from 35 yards out. Dillon in the backfield made PA more effective.
But ,hey maybe Fred " Fragile " Taylor will be a diffrence maker.
Who says that Patriots can't lose 2 in a row playing an inferior team like Steelers ?

This team isn't as good as half the people here think it is. Without the ST plays in a few games it would be 4-4 right now.

************, no one is saying we can't lose next week. Of course we can. But we aren't just writing off the damn team for dead. We see that we CAN win next week. And I bet we will.

Hmm, last I checked ST was 1/3 of the game. So please tell me, how does a full third of any Football game suddenly not count? And BTW: The ST only won us Miami. And we might have won that either way, we don't know.

Change a play here, a play there, and pretty much every team could be 4-4 right now.

There is no way those Pats are going to beat the Rams in the Super Bowl...errr...

Anything's possible. You can say it's unlikely. You can say it's improbable. Just don't say there's no way, because you're absolutely wrong.

Next Sundays game will be over by this time.
