Even though the Top 51 rule does not expire until Thursday tonight I will no longer be using the Top 51 rule after today's cutdown. Between fantasy football drafts and work tonight will be the best time to do so.

What that means will be including the salaries of
53-man roster
10-man practice squad
suspended Blount
PUP Fletcher and Chris Jones
the 10 IR players

Expect Patriots' cap space number to decrease from 5.4m unless there is a trade or an extension announce today

@Miguel Is Blount not included in the current roster? And once he returns, will one of the four running backs (Bolden, Cadet, White, Lewis) be cut and removed from the roster?

Nice page, Miguel. First time I checked it out as I'm not really into capology. One very interesting fact is that of the 69 active and inactive players, 21 are UDFA's. That's 30%, which is higher than I expected. Anyone know how that compares to the league overall?

Did a study on Pats and UDFA a couple of years ago. Over three years ,they were just about 30%. Dont know about rest of league ,but probably the same. Every year,you can find at least 1 with a chance to make the team. This time it was definitely Harper. Fun to check the tape on these UDFA. Its like searching for gold. After including split salaries of Groy,Boyce+ Krause and estimating that Bequette's injury settlement is for 3 weeks new cap space=$9,094. Please note that the Top 51 does not actually expire until Thursday. I have to stop following it now because I will be real busy before then

Reminder - If Patriots waive a player after Blount's return they will get a credit on cap for 16 weeks of that player's salary.
