You guys are talking about an un-relatable time in patriots history.. where I was more concerned with trying to get her bra off then what the team was doing in early 90s.. LOL..

Not F'n much

Scott Sisson bad/ loved

I'm contractually obligated to stick up for my fellow Ga Tech Yellow Jackets.

Some love for kickers and punters

Nick Folk loved, average
AV loved, great
Ryland divided, bad
Gost loved, great
Slye hated, average-ish
Bahr divided, average
Ken Walter hated, bad
Jake Bailey divided, great then bad
Palardy hated, bad
Camarillo loved, great
Allen loved, great
Baringer loved, great

WTH??? How do you include Ryland and Slye but leave out Mesko???
Everybody knows...

Coaches:

Fairbanks (loved, good)
Erhardt (divided, average - he's a better OC)
Meyer (divided, anyone that triggers Shula with the snowplow is automatically "great" by my ranking)
Berry (divided, good)
MacPherson (hated, bad)
Rust: (hated, bad)
Tuna: (loved until he left, great)
Pete: (divided, not ready for prime time)
BB: (loved, one of the coaching GOATs)
Mayo: ( lol, )

Idc I loved Ochocinco / Bad

That never made much sense to me either - waste of a roster spot. Is it not possible to teach the 3rd string center how to do this? The long snapper maybe gets in on less than a dozen plays/game...
Then that bad snap happens... during the Super Bowl... with your punter standing at the 5. Or, it's a 45 yarder to win the game. A layup for today's kickers. The snap is high, longer time to bring down, timing is off. Missed the AFC Championship game winner.

There is no way David Patten makes this team.

I remember when tippet came to my school back in 90 to do a D.A.R.E program speech and he was on crutches... LOL

I can still vividly recall the sense of doom after the 4th preseason game in '89. Starters played a half to 3 quarters of the 4th game back then. Tippet (shoulder), Veris (knee) and Lippett (achilles) all lost for the season in the final preseason game, there went the D. The Pats were lost for more than just a season after that catastrophe. The downward spiral had begun

Joey Galloway (hated, bad). No idea what happened to this guy as a deep threat when he got here. Made some “business decisions” on the field and pissed Brady off too IIRC.

Donald Hayes - see Joey Galloway. Lol

Speaking of Thomas... BB got rid of guys when they were in thier late 20s.. we signed Thomas at 29 to a long term deal... thought he like em younger...

All time great signing on paper. The free agent treasure just never lived up to the hype.

If anyone can find the play where AD used Washington to sack Favre vs the Jets I’d be much obliged. It looked like something out of Marvel where Hulk basically uses Leon Washington to smash Loki. I laughed for weeks afterwards and had the vid on repeat until I lost it.

Andre Tippett loved/great ( can't believe nobody mentioned one of the 5 greatest Patriots of all time)
Gino Cappeletti loved/great
Jim Nance loved/great for a few years was one of the alltime greatest rbs. At his best was better than Corey Dillon at his best.
Jules loved/great my alltime favorite Patriot
Mini-Mack Herron loved/ great(well he was great for a little while) maybe the most fun to watch Patriot evah?

Wasn't 1990 the year where practically all of the 1985 team either left or retired?

Teddy Bruschi #54 always seemed as though it was fun and couldn't believe he was payed to do it. Loved him.

couldnt a backup qb do this

Tippet was soldiering on and the Ghost of Grogan played his last in 1990 but IIRC that was pretty much it

Tebow (loved*, bad)

*by the Tebowites. Hi Christiancat!
