There are questions that could ask:
1) Why are you appealing?
"We're involved in some ongoing litigation right now in the interest of protecting the integrity of our sport. That process is ongoing. Right now I think our focus should be on the start of this season"
2) Do you still believe Brady lied?
"Tom Brady is a fine young man and a very passionate player, but he is still subject to the same rules as every player, coach, and owner in the league. These rules apply to everyone and we do our best to enforce them fairly and to give players a fair chance to appeal."
3) Why did you let this go this far?
"We certainly feel the need to protect the integrity of our sport. We've always pursued that and will continue to pursue it, but right now I think the focus should be on the start of the season.
4) Did Brady really agree to accept one game for non-cooperation?
"We engaged in some talks during the hearing process in New York over the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately we were not able to come to an agreement. Tom's a fine young man. He's very passionate about football."
5) Who in the league office screwed this up?
"We do our best to preserve the integrity of the game. That's always been our goal and we will continue to work to make sure that there is a fair and level playing field."
