And later, "Brady, I feel is protecting the 2 kids that were in charge of the footballs. He is taking the hit for them. That’s what you would expect from him."

Nowhere in there is any accusation that McNally and Jastremski did anything wrong. He says he doesn't know about them (how could he or any of us?) and that Brady is being a great person by protecting them from the NFL's witchhunt.

It is not entirely implausible, listen and consider without necessarily accepting. Here I go.
Brady says he wants it at lower end of the limit, so before they send it to refs, they inflate it to as close to 12.5psi as possible. When in the refs room, they see refs add some air because their gauge which is faulty shows that it is less than 12 PSI. Dorito ding now fears of being yelled at by Brady if the balls are not as he approved them before they go to the refs. He feels he needs to let some air out of the balls, just a tad...
See where I am going? It is possible Brady could be in the dark. Or he generally knew about correcting the erroneous effects of the gauge used by the refs and did not feel it was wrong.
So in his mind, he has not done anything wrong, he has not ask anybody to deflate footballs outside the limits.
Again, Brady may not know anything about this at all. The title deflator is disconcerting if we as pats fans are being self critical.

I heard Curt Schilling was on Mike and Mike yesterday to talk about something else but also ripped into the nfl for setting this whole thing up. I didn't hear the interview just heard it brought up later. But hey the more people who find a way when they have air time to get this information out there the better
