I would like him to stay.. but judon feels he's worth more. Hopefully the offense can finally show up this season. Because the defense took some hits. They need to just trade him. With the Barmore’s illness, this defense is severely weakened. They aren’t contending and he's going to be 32 on the final year of his contract.
Not saying that at all. Just saying that it could or could not be related to contract shiz. I'm just saying that a lot of times, we are wrong in assuming things are as we see them and end up with egg on our faces. Chances are it was something about his contract/status, that being said, these dudes sign these deals and almost always end up outplaying or feeling like they're "owed".Come on man. You came away after watching the video thinking they were talking about Madden? They were talking contract and Judon's behavior. No way around it.
ALL NFL teams go through things like this.. what Chris Jones did Last year in KC was a nightmare clown show. This has happened plenty before in Foxboro... the difference is social media covers every aspect if players lives. Practice is live streamed these days.. and everything is critiqued. However to you point why isn't he traded? Why has Judon not been traded? Not gonna call it a full on clown show in Foxboro, but I'm seeing clown tendencies. We used to laugh at teams in the state the Pats are currently in.
Teams will try to ignore it as long as possible before it gets out of hand. It's definitely pointing toward him getting traded soon. The contingency in the trade will be the other team working out a new deal with him.Why has Judon not been traded? Not gonna call it a full on clown show in Foxboro, but I'm seeing clown tendencies. I called this a long time ago that Judon was eventually going to realize his massively underpaid and his teammates getting paid didn't help.It appears that's likely what's going to happen.. You did. I remember you posted that. The difference is judon was extended last season by Bill and his teammates weren't. Also his age and injury history is hurting him unfortunately. Mayo told him to stay home today. If there's anyone with a close relationship and can get to judon it's mayo... Hightower also needs to reel him in.Teams will try to ignore it as long as possible before it gets out of hand. It's definitely pointing toward him getting traded soon. that sitting on the pads bs made Mayo look weak.At some point, there's going to be a line in the sand drawn with players. Maybe this is it.
that sitting on the pads bs made Mayo look weak.
Judon should have had his ass run off the field as soon as he sat down.
It would not have happened. Period.Would be cool to somehow see what Darth would have done had this happened on his shift. Day off? Week? Traded?
Curran mentioned judon is acting as his own agent and uses and "advisor"So that explains why he's not happy with what Wolf has offered him. Seymour, ty, mankins, Vince, vrabel, branch all had tense heated contract disputes with the organization. Social media was as prevalent as today. I agree wasn't a good look on judon knowing everything is live streamed today...that sitting on the pads bs made Mayo look weak.

Vince stormed out the facility throwing F bombs at bill and cleaned out his locker, Seymour cussed bill out, ty said bill lies to feed his family.. Mankins stood his ground.. Vrabel, branch held out, moss balked.... oh... it's even happend to the untouchable bill Belichick...It would not have happened. Period.

Mayo didn't look weak when he kicked his ass off the field..
what's also hurting him is he's 32 coming a major injury.. I would not say mayo necessarily let it happen.. players are emotional beings with egos.. I thought mayo handled it well and didn't let it affect the team.Wasn't a good look. judon airing his dirty laundry on the first day of padded practice, and mayo let it happen... so, here we are...
Well if it was a special teams player he'd had let him slide...Would be cool to somehow see what Darth would have done had this happened on his shift. Day off? Week? Traded?
On guy on WEEI that I really like is gresh.. but he's a mayo hater.. and he uses **** like this to justify his unfair old man minded takes. Players have all the opportunities at thier fingertips to communicate these days.. **** like this happens in EVERY single organization in sports. What yoi can see is that the players have still stayed thr course and haven't deviated from camp and what they are trying to accomplish. They all support judon however they aren't letting it be a distraction. The media is making it worse. Not saying that at all. Just saying that it could or could not be related to contract shiz. Question:
Would him not playing this year a la holdout be considered reneging on his contract? Would love to see the contract details although I would probably need a lawyer to decipher the lawyer speak in it....
He didn't get extended, but he got more of his guaranteed money upfront in 2023. He's still underpaid and has outplayed his contract since his first year in 2021. I remember his rumored asking price was $20M per year which I thought would've been a massive overpay. He has lived up to that rumored asking price. You did. I remember you posted that. However it may all be to late. Wolf is likely looking for a trade partner. A big blow along with beast-more to the D.. however we still have some Dawgs on D. Maybe the offense will finally hold it's water this season?

Yeah this isn't anything new with Pats players being upset. Every team has this going on. In any profession, it's literally impossible to keep everyone happy with their job title, salary, responsibilities, etc.Vince stormed out the facility throwing F bombs at bill and cleaned out his locker, Seymour cussed bill out, ty said bill lies to feed his family.. Yes. As his deal was a 4 yr deal with a base of 6.5.. for this season. Bill gave him a bump last season. He definitely is under paid. But when he signed he never had more than 8 sacks in a season. He's absolutely outplayed his contract. Yeah assante was like Vince on that weird 6 year rookie contract right? He got franchised back then for 9.3 he was said that season among the top players at his position.. back then.He didn't get extended, but he got more of his guaranteed money upfront in 2023. Asante Samuel's situation was also pretty ugly behind the scenes according to him. The difference was Samuel didn't want to return after the 2006 season and was pissed off BB franchise tagged him as Samuel was under the assumption their relationship was poor. He worked out a deal with Bill that the Pats couldn't franchise tag him again after the 2007 season.
Trey Flowers was also that guy who never had more than 7.5 sacks in a season, but got a desperation contract from Patricia for $90M, $18M per year and $50M in guarantees. We were arguing on this board the entire 2018 season that he wasn't going to eclipse $15M per year. That was mind boggling then and it's still bad with today's salaries.Yes. Dumping their best player on defense would be a clear message they’re tanking, giving up on this season. Robert will not allow that. He is running out of patience. The future needs to be now.Why has Judon not been traded? Not gonna call it a full on clown show in Foxboro, but I'm seeing clown tendencies. Better get used to it.Judon not showing up to practice.... what a joke.
Would have never dared not to show up under BB's reign. That's what happens when you put a clown for a head coach. Zero respect.
