I don't understand the Steelers hate. Why not hate the Ravens, the team that supported a murderer? I just hate the city of Balitmore in general, also. And, unfortuantely, the Ravens had an excellent draft and may prove to be ugly way for the Patriots to start the season. Maybe we will catch them by surprise, but I doubt it.

Wait until we play the Steelers then decide on hating them or laughing at them.

Simple solution is to hate both!

50 years ago, I did not exist and I still hated the Squealers.

I can not deny the truth you speak. Truly Sports Hate transcends the space-time continuum, it knows no beginning or end. It burns with an unquenchable fire. It is not enough for my team to win, their victory must come at the expense of the teams I hate. If not it is hollow and incomplete.

I will say, we’ve had very little reason on the field to hate them since the playoff loss in 97.

They’ve never beaten us in a playoff game since in three tries, and are 4-17 against us in that time.

Two of our most recent wins were in the Mac Jones era. So even when we suck, we’ve beaten them.

Pickens average reception in 2023 was 18 yards. He is big play where as Meyers is a dink and dunk artist.

Eh. He averages 58 catches a year. For contrast, Jakoby Meyers averages 66 and that includes a rookie season in which he was hardly utilized.

That’s because they don’t care about character. And although some here don’t believe it matters it really does. Especiallly in a young rebuilding team. You might be able to bring an ******* in to a veteran team with well establish winning culture and character, but if you try to build your team with guys like Pickens you are asking for trouble.

You bring an a hole vet into a team of vets and they will check him. A team of kids will just emulate dudes bad behavior and make things worse I’d think.
