Yeah I mean forget the 17 years of unprecedented success building and maintaining a roster with the same philosophy, I don't care about any of that because our DL looked like crap in week 3 without its best player.

We get it, you hate the guy, and you will never forgive him for passing on all the players you wanted. Again, we get it. So can you please stop adding a snarky comment about Belichick in half of your posts? You're capable of good football discussion, I've seen it. But too often this is your standard post, and it adds nothing of substance.

Some pretty ugly defense there

Play 1: run to the left

E. Roberts gets blown up by Detroits guard. K. Davis is pretty easily blocked. Easy big gain.

Play 2: run up the middle

bad alignment. Hightower needs to move closer to the middle. Detroit's center easily blocks E. Roberts and leaves a gap a truck could drive through.

Play 3: run to the left

D. Wise doesn't come off block quick enough. Hightower gets pushed to the side by the center. Easy big gain.

Play 4: TD pass off play action

Well executed by Stafford. Gilmore in coverage. Looks like he expected safety to pick up the receiver which didn't happen. Bad communication and easy throw for a TD.

Some of the issues are alignment and communication. These issues should be correctable. Other issues like talent (E. Roberts and others) is a bit trickier. Chung and Flowers will hopefully help turn this around on Sunday.
