If we give a 5th, I think it happens.I speculate Florio is an idiot - no chance in friggin hell Elway is going to deal a solid WR to a top AFC Rival
I mean …
Ah, the old multi-player dump + a 5th rounder. It was right there in front of me the whole time.Heres my obligatory Richards Gilleslie Allen and a 5th for Thomas.
That’s great news to hear. We could really use him, especially in the first 4 games.Dorsett caught everything thrown to him tonight. Brady shows confidence in him. You Dorsett haters are going to be disappointed I think.
While Allen is a logical choice due to his cap hit, I’d be cautious when parting with a strong blocking TE, especially with the new LT. I’d love to have a big, physical presence at WR too, though.Maybe D.Allen and a late 5th or 6th.
Despite what people say about Thomas being soft. He’s still a top 10 WR in this league, and one of the best 3 route runners in the league, who can run Any route on a route tree. That alone would make him a good fit here.
The only reason he doesn’t make sense here is, we just don’t have to Cap space. Unloading Allen’s bloated contract would make it worth while
add an extra TE or pass receiving RB
After watching tonight, I think this team is in desperate need for a number 3 WR. Without Edelman the first four games, the offense could get ugly.
I highly doubt they trade for him. But if DT becomes a cap casualty then things could get interesting and I would be all over it.Yes, this is one of those frustratingly silly times when news outlets manufacture a story out of thin air. Speculate, talk about said speculation, pretend the fact that people are talking about the speculation somehow substantiates said speculation, lather, rinse, repeat.
And the world spins madly on.
The issue is that Dorsett has had good camps/preseasons in the past but once the regular season comes, he has issues getting off the press. I’m not in the “hater” camp as much as I am in the “wait and see” camp because I’ve seen very little to date that makes me think he’ll be a quality receiver. I’d love, LOVE to be wrong though. His skill set is exactly what the 2018 offense needs.Dorsett caught everything thrown to him tonight. Brady shows confidence in him. You Dorsett haters are going to be disappointed I think.
