First injury report

Thomas is coming off major surgery, and is still an injury risk. Gordon is a risk to be suspended weekly. Anyone who says our WR group is deep or a strength is out of their mind.

You can’t base your roster on injury risk otherwise there would be no one on the roster. Anyone can get hurt at anytime.

I assume Obi will be in the running to be one of the inactives anyway but I am hoping Lacosse plays. Otherwise I would assume a lot more of Develin in a blocking TE role/H-back along with a tackle eligible on goal line packages.

I think Ryan Izzo's Forte is Blocking his story is a pretty nice one him making the final roster and all. Izzo is not run away from you fast but he seems to have decent hands could surprise the Defense from time to time. Brady hit hm on a nice seam route in the Carolina preseason game a nice throw and catch. Ryan Izzo reminds me of that old Giants TE that had ACL problems galore Jake Ballard he was even on the Pats for spell had a nice year for the Giants in 2011. Ballard wasn't fast but had sneaky speed and good hands. I am hoping Izzo is like that which would be a nice upgrade to Dwayne Allen in our passing game.

Lost my breath for a moment when I saw this with only the first 4 words coming across my screen.........

Is Patrick Chung playing or still recovering from his busted arm?

Did you think the next two words were "a nut?"

I thought this was the First Injury Report

Abel (Head) - Doubtful

Derek Rivers? Oh wait.....

Sean Davis is going to figure prominently in Gronk’s Hall of Fame highlight package. Tom will miss not having that matchup available this year

Hard to play with only 1 TE.
I assume under the old system all 3 would be probable.

I would think that many teams have 2 TE's active and no fullback. Yes, it's "hard", but Belichick will adapt better than other teams to having 2 TE's in short yardage situations (with Develin as the #2).

Does that explain why the quack football doctor Chao thought Thomas wasn't 100%?
I don’t understand the 4 dislikes and people so quick to defend Chao. I’ve thought it’s irresponsible of him to start making assumptions on players when he’s not even in that room with them which only gets fans riled up when it’s news that don’t want to hear. And I’ve noticed he’s wrong most of the time.

But in short yardage you gave 2 TEs sometimes 3 IN ADDITION TO A FB.

It’s not going to be the end of the world if we end up with only 1 TE capable of dressing but it will definitely not be done by choice
