Patriots Announce 2018 Jersey Numbers

On Twitter Tuesday, the New England Patriots shared an updated list of assigned numbers for all newly acquired players via trade or free agency along with some changes for longer tenured Patriots.

Some key notes include safety Duron Harmon giving his number 30 to old Rutgers teammate and cornerback Jason McCourty. He has held that number his whole career in Tennessee and Cleveland. Harmon will take Malcolm Butler’s old 21 in 2018.

Wide receiver numbers have Jordan Matthews taking Danny Amendola’s number 80 and Kenny Britt switching from 85 to 88.
Cordarrelle Patterson nabs his usual number 84 that he held his whole career previously with the Minnesota Vikings and Oakland Raiders.
Running back Jeremy Hill will sport Dion Lewis’ old 33.
