Here's a story that's on both sides of the issue of women's ability in sports.

A Pakistani girl takes up squash (and Pakistan is a world power in squash). Due to murderous sexism, she disguises herself as a boy ... and beats the boys.

But that's as a young teenager. Now, as an older teenager, she's moving up in the women's rankings but not at the top, and hence can be presumed to fall far short of the men.
