Obstruction is not a crime because breaking stuff is irresponsible. Hell, it's not only responsible, it's often going to be a smart move. Obstruction is a felony because the government doesn't want its job made harder.

Just for the record - I read what some of you guys have said about Steve Balestrieri. Not cool. He was reporting an update from what was reported by WBZ-TV.

I didn't read it but if he cited WBZ as the source, fine, if not its his report.

Don't blame Steve that WBZ was unable to confirm that the arrest warrant was only prepared and not issued because Aaron, frankly, was not available or located in order to have the warrant issued.

None of this is confirmed. You don't need the person available to issue a warrant for arrest.

Does anyone not think that Aaron's attorney is working on those arrangements right now because the warrant has been prepared.

We don't know that is the case.

And if the report is accurate and correct that he is being charged with Obstruction, then the only thing that I have to say about that is I told you so.

Hernandez is a public figure, so—even if he is completely exonerated—he would have a hard time winning a defamation case.

He'd have to prove that whoever published the defamatory material KNEW it was wrong, and published it anyways. But since it's a claim of a crime, he wouldn't have to prove damages.

[By contrast, since the people that the New York Post wrongly claimed were the Boston Marathon bombers aren't public figures, they merely need evidence that the claims made against them weren't true.]

The point is that you do not know the details and jumping to a conclusion.

As I said he may be the killer, but to call his actions irresponsible without know what his actions actually are, is crazy.
For example, what has his communication or his attorney's on his behalf with the police been? What did he do or see? What does he know? What actually happened? Who pulled the trigger?Where? Was Hernandez in danger of being shot as well? What did the police find in their search?

I could go on and on. Without those and more facts acting like you know something is silly.

But again ... when you roll with unsavory people you don't get the benefit of doubt. Hopefully he is providing police with everything he knows at this time. If he is not and he is not the suspect then he will get what he deserves.

This just in... ABC TV is reporting that a rabbit ran across the front lawn of Aaron Hernandez's house. Authorities say that the rabbit is currently not a suspect, but has not yet been cleared as a potential suspect. Story is still developing....

Update - News caster Elmer Fudd reports rabbit is not cooperating with police and an arrest warrant is being drafted.

Icy - Where did you get the photo labeling AH's home and the Industrial Park?

The area circled as the "Industrial Park" is actually the NA Recycling Center on Mt. Hope.

Original reports had the Industrial Park in question as being on John Dietsch Blvd....which is South East of AH's home (and wouldn't be viewable on that picture as it is further away) and is not Southwest of AH's home as indicated.

Has the location of the crime been changed (or even confirmed yet)?

I am with you belicheck010405. I am looking at the reality of this situation based on what is being reported. i am forming my conclusions with the knowledge that some of the reports may not be entirely accurate.

You called them pom pom fans, I like that..I'll call them homers with blinders on sipping up all the kraft kool-aid.

Oh and Andy, FYI OJ was found NOT GUILTY in a court of law yet we all know he did it...

AH is involved in this, in a negative manner, either directly or indirectly and WILL BE ARRESTED TODAY. I'll say I told you so as soon as I see it happen but trust me you, it will happen, and it will happen soon.

In other news, an unnamed source from patsfans.com stated that "he liked to use abusive language when replying to people, such as calling them 'moron'"
