Every Year We Have Camp and Pre-Season Young Binkies At WR

It would be great if Tyquan could salvage himself to be a deep ball threat, but otherwise limited, so we could keep him at a reasonable cost. I can't imagine Thornton will ever be close to a #1, but that is OK if he can fill the deep role at a reasonable price. We will see when the pads come on.

Tyquan beat the coverage in the first series but Brissett grossly under-threw him. Off by a mile and, no, he should not have come back for the ball; Brissett should have thrown it to him and got the TD.

Thanks Fred that ball was under thrown.

This is correct. Tyquan blew by the coverage, but it was the 2nd or 3rd team coverage as the Panthers sat 30+ players (their top offense and defense).

Yeah #31 Lamar Jackson is part of the 2nd team and has a 4.58 40 (which I would attack every time if 1on1), but he's easily beaten 4.3x 40 CBs in the past. Hopefully everything clicks this year.

Often this is because our starting WRs are fairly lackluster so we focus more on every little thing our more long shot prospects at WR do. If you look long enough at a prospect and their performance you'll find some things you like. And we all spend a lot of time looking at any WR prospect that shows any kind of life at the NFL level
