I’ll admit I have my :/ moments with his play calling some days, but the results can’t be argued. I DO think it’s worth noting that all 3 OCs that have been here Brady era have seen a lot of success and been able to use it as a springboard....so far a springboard to mediocrity at best. With BB, TB, and Dante around for all of that time (minus a couple years for DS) it makes it hard to measure the OCs true impact and effect on the overall offense. Josh and Brady are like brothers, and they’ve had great success. Brady and BOB seemed to butt heads more...but 2010 and 2011 were two pretty damn good years on offense, the hurry up and 2 TE scheme at its peak effectiveness during his time. They didn’t win the SB but that was stage 2 of TBs career and the remade the offense to a certain extent. Charlie Weis was the guy who helped sculpt TB during early years but it’s not like he’s done that with any other QBs, so is it the coach or the QB?

Rambling but yeah good for Josh, happy for him, but it’s as likely as not that 3 years from now he wishes he just stuck around to hang with Tom for the last few years and is fired then welcomed back to coach the O for the last two years of TBs 4th prime in 2021-22. But as long as he’s in Indy he can go to hell.

Josh is a pom pom waving hype likeable guy.
I don't know if he is as cerebral as Tom says he is part of me would like to see Tom work with someone different than O'Shea.
I don't know much about O'Shea but would like to see what Tom could do with Deflippo or another young offensive mind giving some twist someone who will challenge Tom like Bill O Brein did.
Hopefully O'Shea is a good play caller who scraps the third down direct snap hand off play.

By record they are the least competitive in the NFL.

I think what "competitive" means here is there's not a lot of separation among the teams.

Maybe Josh is just messing with them and letting all the other coaches get signed.. then he'll be like "Sorry, changed my mind" and ditch em

Oh how one can dream

He is gone and unless the offense improves good.
If he stays and spurns tbe Colts
I reserve the right to take this back.

Any more word on this?
It would be a nice consolation prize to keep Josh.

Be nice to keep him as an OC but Josh reputation around the league will be trashed if he bails on the coaching staff he's been assembling at the last minute.

He's basically been rebuilding from the Denver mess where people basically said what a ****y guy he was, not a good look for your supposed reformed character in league circles.

It be a great FU to the Colts but Im sure he is bailing especially after this loss.
They are saying his OC is already decided in Indy in Bevell.

Can't blame him if he got cold feet. Also, he might know something could go down with BB/RK and he'll be first in line.

(Not saying it won't get worked out, just that it's possible)

Well ESPN Schefter is saying the Colts are expected to introduce McDaniels as coach mid week.
He did a deal with the devil.
Unless Kraft fires BB or BB retires Mcdaniels is INDY bound maybe O'Shea doesn't call a pass to a 40 year old Quarterback what if Brady got steamrolled on that play?

Lets be honest you put any OC with Brady and he should be able to get HC job.

Personally, i think he's still too young to be a coach.

The Patriots Way can only happen if you have a Tom Brady. He's good for 10 wins a year on his own

I didn't like the play, because I didn't think the Patriots needed to get cute to move the ball on that offense, but:

What if the pass had been better?

See you and your bag of pony tricks later

Just when I think you'e turned a corner your game planning is a ****ing mess
