It supposedly happened after practice yesterday so it seems more linked with something that happened during yesterday practice instead of the game. Otherwise the MRI would have happened sooner

What matters to me is this…did he cry loudly like a 3 year old skinning his knee like Mac looked and probably sounded when he got his ankle crushed? Honestly about 95% of us would have acted like Mac when that happened. Having a 320lb dude crushing you would’ve scared anyone. I can imagine the pop he felt or must’ve heard. Times I’ve just rolled mine or full on sprained it were t pretty and I can’t imagine throwing a 300+ man on top. Then again, pretty sure Mac was a bottom. The tennis outfit gave it away…

I doubt he did, got a high ankle sprain last year and nobody outside the team knew until like a month later, re-injured it getting tackled against NC State I believe, near end of game, down by 19, coaches just expected him to be out rest of the game, nope, right back in to finish the game. He will play through a ton of pain, big competitor.

The only reporter to claim this is Ben Volin. It's been a day and no other reporter has corroborated the story. The only thing that HAS been reported is that he's fine and there's "no concern".

Let's all remember the time last year that Volin reported something he "was told". It was from a kid in high school who pretended to be connected to the team DMing him fake information on Twitter. Volin then reported it as fact "per sources". The kid then leaked the DM screenshots showing it was all made up.

So... never trust Volin, always wait for a second source.
