Draft Game... Comment Thread

Time to start voting for the 49'ers....

I'm gonna go with Devin Thomas, WR, Michigan St.

Don't want to post in the selection thread but Kenny Phillips was selected by Arizona with the 16th pick of this round.

Sorry it took so long for the 49ers pick...it is Easter

Wow, 6 OTs selected in the first round. I know this draft is meant to be deep but that's got to be rare.

I believe the Giants pick will come to a vote and I will vote Devin Thomas WR Michigan State

I vote they trade it to the Patriots in exchange for a superbowl victory

Sorry folks, I was under the assumption that the draft game would not start until a week or 2 prior to the draft.

I believe that Dallas is going to trade up with both picks, so this is harder for me. I am leaning towards the best available WR and CB with each pick.

Can we get an update of the picks?

The Giants pick has been on the board for at least 11 hours now are we going to vote for this pick?

I like Dan Connors here as well.

Does anyone have the official NFL draft order for round 2?

If the NFL Draft is anything like our game, there should be a lot of skill-position value in the second round. Look at all the offensive and defensive linemen! My goodness!

Soooo are we gonna pencil in Connor or what?

Thanks joe! :)

I'll update the selection thread, but I don't know if gomezcat will be up this late?

He's only 5-6 hours ahead (I can't remember if they have had daylight savings time yet), So he is probably sitting down to his steak & kidney pie just about now.

What? At 5.30pm? LOL! I'm down to two people. I'll make a decision in the next ten minutes. Just checking with my scouts...

Done. I took Cliff Avril; Jason Taylor is really starting to show his age and they need another pass rushing threat. I hope he'll be a good fit as a 3-4 OLB.
