This offense has the potential to be incredibly efficient and consistent. As long as the line protects and makes a few holes in the running game the sky is the limit.

I don't think they are as good as what we saw Sunday but def not a bad as NO or the MIA game.

Chargers have a decent pass defense. We'll see how it goes.

Over/under if A$ante Samuel Sr. says anything before/after the game?
I wouldn’t mind trading Harry to get Byrd back (who Chicago isn’t really using).

Would like to see them be aggressive on fourth down going forward.

I like them!!!! Adds a little surprise element to Josh's playcalling...

we need more trick plays... completely underdeveloped playbook in the area of special teams...

Once in a while is fine, but it’s not sustainable.

I don’t want to watch an offense like the Shanahan 49ers where almost every play is becoming a gimmick.

I liked them early in the game Sunday, but not later in the game. Why use a trick play when blowing out the Jets? Save it for other games.

Yes I want to win, but I also want to be entertained. Trick plays are entertaining. I'd argue if you are down 20 points it should be a requirement for most teams to use them.

Hell, by the third quarter the Jets should have been pulling out fake punts and laterals etc. But because they are the Jets they would've backfired and lead to even more entertainment lol.

If they work, sure., as they generally do, it seems to me. I disgaree with some of Josh's strategic decisons, but he's a smart guy, and that shows when he gets to the trickery.

I love them Id just rather save them for key moments. Didn’t like using it against the jets and on a 3rd and 18 against tb (came up short) .

The wildcat play with Harris looks like itll be very hard to stop. 2 for 2 thus far from what i see. That’s another id do my best to save for a key red zone trip.

I like them, and they shouldn't save them. Keeps the defense on their back feet, thinking real play or trick play.

I like it. If we have a couple of WRs who can throw the ball well, might as well use it. Not worried about "showing it too early" as we don't have the luxury of saving it as in years past. Also, you can always throw variations on those looks and still confuse teams going forward. At this point, I almost think the more tricks we can throw out there the better. Give opposing defenses more to think about and process.

your last comment is what I think is the long-term value.

SHORT-Term value, is when you having problems getting going; like in the Harbawl game. They used trick plays to get something going and it so discombobulated Harbawl that he screwed up another quarters worth of coaching.

but best reason to do them is to set up your next two three opponents into having to game plan/practice for them and the opponents then play less aggressive D on your NORMAL VARIATION of the play. But if the normal and trick don’t look similar enough to confus, then I agree it’s a waste.

Yeah. I'm not crazy about having this in the playbook at all but I'm sure Josh is going to let Harris try to throw from wildcat formation sometime.

i only like them at the end of the season or playoffs when the team really needs them…

Kansas City had Kelce do a set lateral play. Seems like that could be done more often??

I like the way you think. Maybe pound and pound with harris each time until one moment later on, like a key 3rd and goal or something and let the d sell out to stop harris while he tosses to a wide open jakob j
