49ers over Vikings by 10-14 pts. I expect it to be one of those games that's competitive in the first half, but will see the Niners pull away near the end of the third quarter.
I expect the Ravens to beat the Titans, albeit in a game that's closer than the final score indicates.
Have a feeling that the Chiefs will blow out the Texans.. Just not at all sold on Houston.
And have a vague hunch that The Seahawks will upset the Packers in a nail-biter.
In order of preference re: which team I'd like to win the Superbowl
1: Titans- They're my father's team. Plus, they have a good number of Patriots alumni who made sizeable contributions to our many SB runs (Vrabel, Butler, Ryan, Dion).
2: Vikings- The organization has never won a ring. Plus, I live near Washington, and I'd derive a great deal of Schadenfreude in watching Redskins fans bemoan Cousins hoisting the Lombardi.
3: Texans- Have no strong feelings on them either way.. They strike me as a relatively inoffensive organization. Guess it'd be nice to see Watt win a ring.
4: Chiefs- Really hate the idea of rooting for Tyreek Hill and Terrell Suggs. But I really respect Mahomes as a player, and I'd like to see Reid win a ring.
5: Seahawks- Russell Wilson has had quite the season, and although Carroll's style of coaching isn't my cup of tea, the Hawks are always a fun team to watch whenever they aren't playing the Pats.
6- 49ers- I like Jimmy G, but the number of hack-takes about how the Pats made a mistake trading him will be unbearable if San Francisco wins it all this year.. Plus, I'd rather that the Niners not equal the Pats in number of rings won.
7- Ravens: I hate the organisation and Harbaugh is insufferable, but Lamar Jackson seems like a good kid, and I have nothing against him.
8-: Packers: The Rodgers ballwashing of the 10s was unbearable enough as is, and I fear that it'll be multiple tenfold if he manages to win a second ring (particularly in a year where Brady wasn't at his best). Plus, as far as QBs go, Rodgers is by far the least likeable one left in contention this year.
