Diggs

Keenan Allen is still producing . So that means we get 3 more years of Diggs .

Hope we get another couple more from Henry too.

Any decent wr2 that we can sign who can stretch the field . Williams what is happening . At least should have made 1 wow play by now.
KW is off the grid: can't find him with a search warrant. I thought he was a little more accomplished.

The locker room is much, much better with cats like Diggs and Morgan Moses. I could mention Tonga and Hollins and Bradbury, too. These guys are not just players, but leaders.

Was this Eliot Wolf’s doing?

State: I'm eating.

**** you'll know how I feel about WR's wish we had George Pickens too.

And Henry Ruggs, and Rae Carruth. And what a shame OJ is dead, he was a great guy, when he wasn't slitting people's throats.

Last night was about as clutch of a performance as we've seen from a Patriots player in a loooooong time.

I don't think he has the long speed anymore to run away from defenders, but he's about as crafty WR as we've seen. He could be Julian Edelman type for Drake the way Jules was for Brady.

Also, the leadership aspect is a surprise to me as well. I thought he was a malcontent but he's about as good a leader as we've seen since the dynasty days.

We need him to get to the Promise Land

No.

Never had a problem with the signing overall because I thought we could afford to overpay. History of ACL injuries though is that year 1 back is a diminished version of the player and he was already aging, so I didn't have overly high hopes for this season. I thought next year was where you'd more reap the reward of the signing. His return to form has way exceeded my expectations and done a lot of the outlook of this team. I viewed them as having no respectable #1 WR since I didn't see him being that guy in year 1 back, but he has been that guy and it changes a lot.

He is number 12 in yards so far and that's a welcome change and Henry is at number 42 . Not bad numbers .

The best inference I could make of wide receivers stats are that

Egbuka is significantly in pole position as OROY

Puka is impossible to tackle after catch

And 49ers offense runs via mcaffrey. And his yac is around 320 yards which would put him in top 15 purely from receiving yards standpoint. That's how good he has been . All those short screens he is picking up 6+ yards on each dump off. Unbelievable.

I want to admit I was wrong about bringing Diggs on this year. I thought his age/injury would result in him being like Juju. I also thought on how he departed from Buffalo that he would be a cancer in the locker room, demanding the ball and churping at our young QB who is trying to become something special. Then not being around much in volunteer practices (I know he was still rehabbing) and the boat incident had me thinking well here we go its running of the rails fast. But since the season has started he has proved me wrong. The guy is a fierce competitor, great work ethic, a leader and is a team player who tries to bring up his teammates. He has shown on the field that he is still a stud and is clutch as hell. I am glad I was wrong and have quickly become a fan as he is checking all the boxes. I hope he stays healthy and keeps performing on this level. May have to go get a Diggs jersey!

I feel Diggs getting injured last season in Houston allowed him to reflect on his illustrious career. To be able to sign him was a match both parties needed.

Diggs is what Mclaurin is to Daniels. Gonzo was saying what Diggs and Drake did against Buffalo is something they always do in practices.

The connection was formed between Drake and Diggs and it was on display Sunday night.

He's exactly what the team needed in a leader at the skill position

Id gladly take that as well and i feel its a fair expectation. Give Drake 2 years with this version of diggs and Mcdaniels, that could be more than enough to catapult him into the elite category
Sprinkle in a little AJ to go with it..

Thats whats so impressive about this offseason is its not just talent acquisition but these are culture guys as well.

It’s basically the inverse of last year where nobody drafted outside of maye has been any good and there was also a report shortly after the draft that there were character concerns with basically every pick but maye. And signings like okorafor

I'm withholding my endorsement on that, because I want to see how his situation plays out the rest of the season. He's done a lot of things the last couple of years that I wouldn't necessarily want on a young team.
