Guys don't be shocked if the team waits until after week 1 when his contract will no longer be fully guaranteed.
That’s pretty much it.

4 wr may be used a lot more than that but you haveYea. Reps in practice is more my thinking.
Might see 4WR but only a handful of times.
I forgot about Dorsett.4 wr may be used a lot more than that but you have
Edelman
Gordon
Harry
Dorsett
Ok. Next time I will study everyone's posting history and do an analysis before responding to them posting something that appears incorrect.I did not see your post first of all.
Secondly I know how PUP works - just go look at my 100 posts about it and other rules.
Also, Anyone who was not looking for an argument would have gotten my point.
This.
He even said he has good days/bad days. Maybe it took everything he had to get ready to play last Thurs and it's not sustainable.
I think they want to give DT time to heal and JE, JG, Meyers and maybe even Gunnar maximum time with Tom.
For all we know JG could crash and Meyers and Gunnar could pull a Sudfield and flame out vs starting caliber NFL defenses.
They may be letting DT heal. Is is possible his Achilles acted up a bit after game 4. That was the first time he played in a while.
They have a free PUP with no restrictions at all. Why not use it?
Yup. I really like the idea of PUP and sandbagging DT as “Gordon insurance.”.
I forgot about Dorsett.
If hes rehabbing that's a roster spot not providing on-the-field value Week 1. BB made a call. For whatever reason he wanted to keep X player instead of a not-quite-healthy DT.I'm not buying.
DT could be rehabbing while on the 53, while the other receivers had the same access to Brady as they do now.
IMO, that is NOT the issue.

The OPEN question is who should be put on in-season IR. If DT isn't ready to play Sunday because he need time, there is no effect on anyone to wait until Saturday to make the decision. BB could wait a week, but then the player going on IR would wait a week before coming back, if at all.
I've forgotten about him for the past 4 months.this has happened for many posters many times in the last 2 days
Yea. Reps in practice is more my thinking.

Wrong, Gronk started burning and munching a couple months back, now he’s clearly back to his playing weight. It also explains his dreadlocks.
I think he will be as well.I think Gunner will be the PR
I think Gunner will be the PR
I forgot about Dorsett.
The size of this guy's arms doesn't pass muster for me.
Also, Gronk does not rent cars.. he buys them.
NFL star Rob Gronkowski gave a teammate car-buying advice—and experts say he's right
This.
......For all we know JG could crash and Meyers and Gunnar could pull a Sudfield and flame out vs starting caliber NFL defenses.
He'll no, during the football season I beat his *** by 3 hours...Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I don’t not understand the rules. What I don’t get is why he is not on the field practicing with Tom Brady RIGHT NOW preparing to catch passes from him in less than a week. We could use him this week. I and others who agree with me don’t need a lesson in the rule book. Relax.I guess you have not been reading anything that has been posted about it in this forum....nor understand how to protect players.
I'm not buying.

Why would he stay around under those circumstances?Yup. I really like the idea of IR with return nd sandbagging DT as “Gordon insurance.”. He got a really good workout in and test for the heel the other day that seems exceptionally positive.
And if it’s not Gordon who goes down for whatever reason, someone else will. It’s a GREAT situation for the Pats to be able to bring this guy on later in the season. Not sure if any other team would have that type of saved ammo....
“Oh yeah? Say hellllooo to my little friend!”
