It's easy, and only takes a few moments. That Broncos team is setting themselves up to be great for years to come. People talk about them being in salary cap hell with all these signings. But think about it. If next year is Manning's last year, they will be saving $20M after he retires.
They draft a good QB (i'm sure Elway can pick one out), and they will have a dominant defense for a few years. Who does that sound like?
Elway is doing a great job there IMHO

How the hell are they going to pay the D/J Thomas and Miller?
And the Cheatriots will be a non factor for another 10 years!!1. They cut Manning.
2. They're not resigning them.
The Broncos are going to be horrid past 2014.

Why will they be horrid in 2015??? Manning will still be around. By then they may have 2 more SB's and if not they put all their chips on the table and tried their best.
How are they setting themselves up for years to come? Ware is 31 (will be 32 in July). Welker is 33. They need to re-sign DeMarius Thomas, Julius Thomas, and Von Miller this year or next. If they cut Manning or he retires, there is no guarantee they will find even an average QB.
It looks pretty clear the Broncos are sacrificing the future to win now. If they don't win, they may have screwed up their future.
Denver is also about to lose: Ayers, Bailey, Moreno, Holiday, Decker, Beadles, DRC, Phillips, Adams, and Woodyard. Von Miller, Welker, and Julis Thomas all free agents next year.
