If this whole thing is bogus I hope the Pats slap a lawsuit on the NFL for defamation.

.....and they are all in here.

Brady's presser was a car crash.

BB's was a success. I practically stood up and cheered after BB's.
he was clearly shaken by it, but idk if that was frustration or nerves. He did ok though.

I got the impression he wanted to choke some of those clowns.

A couple of things
- BB nailed it
- Brady didnt come off great in the presser, at least not to me. At times sounded confident and other times unsure and careful of his words. It was far from a homerun.
What? How was BB better than Brady?

I only got to read transcripts, not listen.

Belichick did fine.

I wish the Pats PR Dept had given Tom a Prozac before going on.
No question he was nervous.

Overall, Stacey James and the team do a good job of putting the players though mass media and public speaking training.

I consider Tom to be articulate, thoughtful in his responses, have good presence and command of his press conferences.

All the mass media training in the world wouldn't have prepared him for that. That was a rough crowd. He stuck to his guns and survived.

NFL is a bunch of chickenshits letting a player/coach take a beating while trying to buy time to substantiate claims they leaked out.

I agree. There is NO excuse for them not yet having talked to Brady, let alone BB, the equipemtn mgr and the ballboy.

Have they not even bought their plane tickets?

I was quite pleased with Tom's performance..

I can't possibly explain it other than they don't consider Brady or BB to be at the center of this.

Pats fans might not, but the media (which is all the NFL cares about) and the NFL do.

I think you mis-interpreted my post. We are in agreement, which is why I did not see his example of spygate= vandalism near relevant. Spygate, in most people's minds outside of N.England, was bad.

"Vandalism" as a criminal charge isn't really that big of a deal in terms of the examples that he could've used.

Brady could have been in possession of heroin...and he wouldn't have gotten this much coverage....

I was completely blown away by that revelation. Still am.

Probably the same team on the Ray Rice investigation.

Didnt watch the presser but jeff howe claimed the national reporters were shouting and yelling. And someone asks tom he is a cheater. Easy to get rattled.
Hard to compare his and BB's presser . BB made a statement and then said GTFO to all followup questions. Brady stood for 31 mins and answered questions . Not comparable.

Brady's presser was a car crash.

I agree. Those reporters responsible should be embarrassed and find another line of work. Like flipping burgers, perhaps.

Spygate was the worst tag that situation could get as it was about camera man location not spying.

"How do you answer - Is Tom Brady a cheater?"

"I don't believe so......."

Sure he wouldve liked to handled it better but that question is so out of the blue iam sure some national reporter asked that i was as shocked it was asked .Sure he was stunned by it and those were the first words which came out.

You keep saying that - why? Because his voice was shaky at the start? The content was good.
