Dallas Clark out indefinitely due to injury

No Kevin Faulk. No Ty Warren. No Leigh Bodden ...

Well said. I refuse to shed crocodile tears over the players in other laundry being moaned about injuries. We have two or three probowl players out for the year, too.

Belichick builds his teams and tries to make them deep enough to overcome. The Super Bowl winner in which they had 42 player injuries and missing games exceeds most any other SB team.

I bet anyone here that Sanders, Clark, Addai and flippin Marvin Harrison will be back for the game against the Pats.

That being said the team to beat this season is the Steelers.

Don't forget that Bob Sanders will come off his deathbed to play the Pats and disappear onto the injury list for another fourteen games or so.

Oh come on, we hate the Colts because they're the Colts. I have Sunday ticket and root against them every Sunday, but there's limits to their hate-ability. Their fans really aren't that bad.

Many Steelers fans truly were glad when Brady got his ACL destroyed in 2008. Not just those idiots that made the t-shirts; I mean, a lot of fans. Plenty of ******ed "karma" comments there. I guess Troy Polamalu had bad karma last year, right? I my opinion, this is the worst fan base in the NFL. They are glad when teams get injured. Unlike Colts fans, they are really going to milk Spygate for everything, and I mean everything. In their collective opinion, the Patriots will never get past the video taping, and the Steelers deserve the Super Bowl in '85, '96, '01, '03, '04, and '07. They love to ignore that the Steelers won a SB with an self-admitted biased ref, had a roided team in the 70s, and had a roided team in 00s (not sure if anyone read that article that the NFL so carefully tucked away.) In addition, they claim to be classy and all about family values, yet their heroes are wife beaters (Harrison) and rapists (Roethlisberger.) There is simply no fan base that compares with this team. The Colts are really not bad in comparison.

You also have to love that they idolize Dan Rooney and the organization. That brain trust always praises character, and they draft players like Roethlisberger, Holmes, Burress, Harrison, Porter, Reed, and numerous other thugs. They are no different from the Bengals, except their turds can play football better. They like to set examples by cutting practice squad players for DUIs and letting star players off the hook.

Amen. And F that big-lipped girl Crosby & the Penguins, too.

(Though I ain't letting the blood Clots & their fanbase off that easily.)

Clark season is over ...IRed today

HUGE LOSS for the Colts

Manning's go to guy on third down is no more in 2010

EDIT: Looks like Collie is gone for a month as well, this might be the worst WR corps Manning has ever had at his disposal - Double team Reggie Wayne and put your best corner on Garcon and you are in business.

Here's the announcement.

After consulting with the Colts’ medical staff and second-opinion specialists, tight end Dallas Clark will have wrist surgery next week and will go on injured reserve, the club announced Friday.

That's a brutal loss for them. You just play cover 2 against them now. Hopefully, your nickel back can handle Austin Collie.

Bummer for the Colts. Too bad it wasn't Dustin Keller.

Who just had surgery on his thumb and will reportedly miss several games.

They've got 7 tough games in a row coming up, Houston, at Philly, Cincy, at
New England, San Diego, Dallas and at Tennessee. Titans might win that
division.

Injuries piling up for the Colts. You'd have thought they would have rested their players more to prevent injuries from happening ...

You just had to realize the Pats and Colts were not both going to make the playoffs forever and I figured this year might be one of those years.

The Colts look more likely than NE to miss the playoffs but never count them out,the Pats are far from a lock themselves.

This injury doesn't affect my opinion of the Colts too much. They have a tough task ahead of them to make the playoffs - just as we do - given the parity in the AFC this year.

But I'm reticent to say the Clark injury is going to hinder them greatly. We've seen them plug players in and out of that offense and they come in and click with Manning. It's a lot like Brady - granted they've had far, far, far greater continuity in their offense than we ever had, but I still think Tamme or whoever else will come in and probably perform a lot better than one would think.

That said, it may not be enough this year.

Seems like he always hurt us on 3rd down, so hopefully it helps us.

I would love beating them in a similar fashion to the beatdown we gave smirky Fisher and Titans last year. Even a third of that one.

This was kind of expected. Super Bowl loser curse strikes again

In other good Colts news, Vincent Jackson's first game back with the Chargers will be against the Colts in week 12.

I picked him up last week in my Fantasy League in hopes of him giving me a boost when our playoffs start.:D

And so the Blair White Era begins...
