Dante has been with the Pats for so long and is such a great coach. His impact is praised. Not sure if he ever got any attention as potential HC or not, but I surely would think he could have.
Is it possible that being the OC here for 4 decades is a possibility for a coach like McDaniels? I mean the Steelers had **** LeBeau right?
Anyway the thought crossed my mind today. Say Belichick coaches until 75 or something, and is not necessarily replaced by McDaniels. Could McDaniels and the offensive systems stay in place for decades similar to Dante?
