No, I made the statement that by all indication, in 2020, voters chose Biden over Sanders. If there's even a plausible theory as to how the DNC could've orchestrated such an outcome, I'm all ears. Otherwise it's just baseless speculation.
Out of respect for what @IcyPatriot posted, I'm done. You clearly refuse to acknowledge what the DNC tried to do in 2016.

Relitigating 2016 is probably the most frustrating and fruitless endeavor, so this is for the best.
He moved the goal posts from his OP.

At least that 'someone with the intelligence of a fifth grader' is giving you something to focus on. So, you know, maybe he's not being completely useless

Oh you're right, he's not being completely useless. If only he were!

Just standing there, defecating gobbledygook is worse than being useless.

If only we had the supreme competence of a FDR, an Eisenhower, or a George Marshall, any of these towering giants that guided us through the perils of a world war to unprecedented greatness.

As somebody who voted for bernie in 2016, I recognize he was never going to win the nomination because the voters chose clinton. Everything else is just noise.

Same as this year. Complain all you want about who did what, but the voters are the ones who chose the candidate. I think Biden is terrible, but whatever. Better to have a card board cutout than what we have now.

Didn't see it...because Andrew Cuomo is constantly on. This is what I mean. People don't want to listen to him right now. The media coverage is with Trump and the governors.

People who don't like Joe Biden complain that Biden is nowhere to be found. But if Biden is giving remarks all the time, they'll instead complain that he's stepping on Trump and the governors and people who have actual responsibilities in this situation.

Fauci's in an interesting place because if he's fired the markets probably totally crash but you know Trump wants to do it.
I wonder how many consider Fauci a hater or that he suffers from Tucker DS.

“President Trump is falsely asserting how quickly automakers including GM, Ford and Tesla can manufacture ventilators to help fill an acute U.S. shortage of the medical equipment for coronavirus patients,” the AP reports.

“Ford and GM have yet to start production, and it would take them months, if not longer, to begin production, if it’s even possible.”

This is cool and normal

Yes, that's the problem for him. This is why Trump either sinks or swims on his own. If thousands of people die, Trump will get blamed. If they can limit the virus, that's a huge advantage for him heading into the election.

Just got word at work that Massachusetts is shutting down for a couple of weeks.

This is bad news for me as I am self employed with customers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island but I get it so it is what it is. I actually had my business sold to start a new career before the shutdowns ... talk about bad timing. Also waiting for a closing on a new studio condo in Providence.

I applied for an SBA disaster loan to hopefully pay off high interest business
credit cards and thus have a lower cost of business as things reopen. keeping
my fingers crossed that the scientists keep moving at warp speed ... it's our best hope.

It's hard to think of yourself when others are suffering from being broke, sick or
have family members dying ... so my prayers are with them all.

Non-essentials are shut down until April 7. Grocery stores and other essentials are still open.

There's a lot of talk and hopefully actions about taking care of the small business etc..

Hopefully they'll suspend interest payments etc.. we'll see.

A two week shut down hopefully gets us out in front of this so that we can get into a type of mitigation phase. Which will help us get back to a new normal sooner. I hope.

My girlfriend says liquor stores are staying open. Haha

I think that was the original date for bars and restaurants ...
So not so bad news for me as that date was in my plans ...
My wife is a deli manager for Stop and Shop so I am greatly concerned for her.
They gave them a 10% raise but won't let them wear masks which is

As long as I can get beer, I can handle this.

With the posts coming fast and furious I can't remember if this has been posted here before (if so, may even have been by me!) but I think it outlines the best option to both save lots of lives and get the economy restarted in a couple of months. However, it also is going to mean people cannot be abject morons (and probably implies force if they continue to be abject morons) and it requires that we massively increase the testing infrastructure.
