Honestly I think I'm going to leave Funke set to Bonus Pass over Run. If they get to my line of defense, 9/10 times it's a pass anyway.

Hahaha yeah, it's ridiculous. My level 11 (at the time) FS's contract lapsed, and within one day I had 6 contract offers, including one from Vincennes Vampires in Oceania Pro. I don't even want to know how many I'd get if one of the big 3 lapsed. Not gonna happen, though- you read all these nightmare stories about owners/players/GMs interacting, and realize that it's definite bonus to be on a team where everyone's just having fun and doing their thing and helping out however they can. The Burning Pride rocks, with the even greater bonus that we don't have to put up with the drama crap that these other teams seem to always be immersed in.

As for Mrs. Pacman Jones, your contract runs through Day 26 of Season 4. Unless we can put together a trade (and we don't have many tradeable assets), it might not be possible to get him (her?) back.

Risky, since they're an excellent running team, and we had a lot of trouble stopping the run last time. Its a tough call though.

Balanced is probably good. The run is a bit more important for the LB to help out on, but hanging the secondary out to dry wouldn't bode well either. I'd just stick with balanced.

Great season, guys, but I think that this game makes it clear that we need to seriously improve our depth if we want to be the champs. We were dominating the game, then got outscored 16-0 in the fourth quarter. Our starters were gassed, and our backups aren't as good as the elite teams in the league.

We got 3 ints from Barkley, 1 from Pietro, and 1 from Cason, and we still lost. That's just crazy.

Yeah a couple of those plays are just inexplicable. I'm set to favor the pass and then Vernon and I get tied up with each other double-teaming the WR who catches the pass and runs for 35 yards. Lame.

To say our defense collapsed would be a little bit of an exaggeration.

On the first TD that they scored in the fourth, they started past midfield. On the other, this happened: http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?pbp_id=5197293

Either way, holding Canberra to 19 is by no means a collapse, and the fourth quarter was one fluke play and getting poor field position. Just chalking it up to the defense not holding its ground is a simplistic approach, but definitely not accurate. Pretty much everyone played a part in giving that game away.
