I think the answer is absolutely yes on Woolen. He's considered really raw. Jones is slated as late 3rd round.

Wasn't there similar consternation when the Pats picked Kyle Fuller, I know it was 2nd round, but he was from that perennial powerhouse Lenoir-Rhyne??

And by dropping down there are two more draft picks in this very deep draft...

in my opinion yes there is a way bigger drop off from gordon/booth to the next corner than from cole strange to dylan parham or zach tom who can both play Guard and Center. The drop-Off from jermaine johnson is also bigger imo

Slated by WHO? Considered Raw by who? This is where your argument is failing.

It's already come out that many teams had a 2nd round grade on Strange. And that grade is higher than what the Draft nicks all claimed.

I know Marcus Jones is slated as a 3rd. But that's because he's more of a slot corner/special teams player. And the Draftnicks still devalue Slot corners..

Cole Strange... drafted by Bill Belichick yesterday. Probably will be the worst pick made by any team in the entire 2022 draft. Belichick actually said "had we not traded down we probably would have taken Strange at #21" ...so it could have been worse.

I thought the Dugger pick was great at the time because he has unique physical attributes. Still, like the pick, but really expected more from him. But then again, I liked the Harry pick at the time too.

Show me an article on Woolen's experience and skillset please.

Every thing written about him is that he's an athletic freak with practically little experience at the position. He converted from WR during the Covid year and then UTSA didn't even have a full schedule.

Effectively this guy has one year at the position.

Sean McVay drafted Jared Goff. Not only that, the picks he gave up to get him resulted in Derrick Henry, Jonnu Smith and Austin Johnson. He probably shouldn't be laughing at anybody.
