NOTEBOOK: Gallery is just plowing ahead - Julian Benbow
files his "NOTEBOOK" which leads off with the fact that since Logan Mankins sitting out thus far through camp as he recovers from offseason knee surgery and Brian Waters out with an excused absence, Benbow writes that Robert Gallery is getting the majority of snaps at right guard and is just working hard at getting better with his new football team.  There are also some notes on Tavon Wilson, who has his head buried in the playbook as he continues working his way into the secondary.

Becoming comfortable with Welker's Contract Status - Greg Bedard
Bedard files his Sunday notes which leads off with some thoughts on the Wes Welker contract situation where he doesn't feel that it will affect his performance on the field.  Bedard also questions the notion that "the Patriots are to blame", which seems to be held among a number of fans who are frustrated that a deal wasn't made before the deadline.

BOSTON HERALD

Brandon Lloyd shows early, exciting signs - Karen Guregian
Guregian has a great article this morning on the chemistry between Lloyd and Brady, however, it's interesting to note that judging by the vibe with the crowd at camp, she compares it to what it was like when Randy Moss first came to Foxboro and she writes that there's a lot of similarities each time the two connect on the field.

NOTEBOOK: Line makes full changes - Jeff Howe
Howe files his "NOTEBOOK" this morning, which leads off with a look at the offensive line, which has had a tough time developing any cohesion thanks to injuries.
