It may be Andrews who will really displace Pass. Pass didn't make the team last year because he could block or run the ball. He made the squad because he was often one of the kick returners, and played on almost all the special teams.
Cobbs still has much to prove before he makes the roster, but even if he made the 53, he would probably be inactive every week, an excellent prospect only active in case of injuries.

If Cobbs were to make it, Pass would be the most likely incumbent to pay the price.
But, as PlattsFan reminds us:
... the history of every preseason is filled with guys who look good against the scrubs
at the end of these games and never do anything else.
He shed tackles pretty well, but against better guys ... who knows?
Patrick Cobbs would seem more likely to hit the p/s ... than Patrick Pass to hit the bricks.
