I was watching the entire game even after being down 28-3 in L1 I saw what hogan did. Now, any mad man could see that we lose that game without hogan so sure, I’m not happy at all about him, Amendola, cooks etc. how could anyone like that? I would have signed him back for familiarity the Pats are really hedging their bets on the Draft.

college wide receivers. College passing offenses are very rudimentary. Pro
wide receivers are easier to judge because the passing attacks are more complex.
Unfortunately, the only experienced wide receivers the Patriots can afford is one
who still has time remaining on his rookie contract.

Belichick's missed on a lot more pro receivers than draftees.

jetsam. The Patriot's commitment to their wide receiving corp is less than another

Outside of that, BB has made it pretty obvious that he doesn't feel that WR is an investment position, either in FA or the draft. TE is obviously where he'd rather invest.
