I always find Matt Chatham's commentary the most insightful of any on the net. So it's a bit worrying to hear him sing the praises of Jet's RB Ivory and to explain why the Jets now have a much more balanced attack:

New York Jets at New England Patriots: Use Chris Ivory to neutralize Tom Brady, offense

Might prove a tougher game than the current line (-8) might indicate. Really hope Sheard and Hightower are good to go although Sheard looks very unlikely at this stage.

Sheard hasnt practiced all week. Dont think he will play. Ivory has always run well against us in the past .Even last yrs thursday night game he ran all over us. for some reason rex ryan and morniwheg stopped giving him the ball in crucial times. Damn, I miss those two.

Ivory has been unbelievable this year. He missed one game, and already had his bye, and is still among the league leaders in all relevant categories.

I'll feel much better about the matchup if Hightower is playing, and this would be a good week for Malcom Brown to start kicking ass.

Ivory is on my fantasy team but that is tempered by the fact I that I also Have TB, Gronk and Edelman.

Same old Jets. Run the ball, play good defense. Give the offense a short field. We have seen this story before. No surprises.

I've been liking that guy from the first time I saw him ...

Too bad he's a Jet ... I hope he has 2 left feet Sunday and then he can go back to beast mode.

The number one threat is Ivory......stopping him after 3 yds or less will be BB's defensive plan. If his defensive schemes can't do that it will be a long afternoon......Double covering Brandon Marshall is #2.......If that get's satisfactorily accomplished, Pats will win.......

Thank God it's a home game.

He always runs hard. I still can't believe the Saints only asked for a 4th round pick. They got robbed. It's unbelievable. You could see how hard he runs when he played for the Saints.

Ivory has always been a good back, just injuries tend to hit him at the wrong time.

Someone who runs as violently as him compliments what the Jets have at receiver this year well.

BB will build a wall and dare Fitzpatrick to beat NE thru the air. The Jests best weapon may be deep passes that create pass interference penalties. Our midget CBs will have issues against the tall boys.....I see penalty flags in my nightmares.

Geez...that's a lot of talent on one team! How are the other 3 teams in your league?

Ivory is playing great and he is going to be tough to slow down. The only real test for the Patriots run defense so far was Dallas OL and they did a good job against them. I think the Patriots run defense is better than they are given credit for, especially if Hightower plays, and I expect them to game plan to slow Ivory down and they will do it. Should be a good game.

We are a 10 team league...quite cozy. I actually drafted TB in the 8th round. Everybody seemed to buy the Brady cheated meme(I'm in chicagoland) I already had aaron rodgers but I took Tom in the 8th because I knew one of these guys would be good for a trade. That's how I got Gronk. Guy got stuck with Peyton Manning but he did have Gronk. So I gave him Aaron for Gronk. ..well I also had to give up Martellus Bennet but I still liked the trade.
