Oh yeah, some of the Jewish jokes are excellent.
I like women jokes too.
My favorite isn't really a joke because it's true, but I enjoy letting everyone know that St Patrick was Italian.

Haven't watched any Team USA games yet but none of the reports are good.
The Europeans have taught us before we can't get by on just superior talent.
It's early, so hopefully we get our **** together.

They showed up the last game against Serbia. Essentially a blow out (26 pts).

The US team almost lost to South Sudan! WTF? South Sudan - you know, the country fielding an Olympic basketball team for the first time? They actually should have lost, with several of their players getting hacked on their final shots in the closing seconds, where they could have taken the lead; but, like the NBA, these refs swallowed their whistles as time ran out.

With the way this team is playing, I'm glad Brown didn't get on it. It looks like the Celts' players could have used the rest. Tatum looks tired out there. He got pulled from the starting lineup and didn't play much off the bench, going 0-3 from 3-point land. He is not looking like a super star. He's not even looking like an all star. Derrick White is also not himself, passing up open threes & looking to pass first. Holiday, on the other hand, looks like he always does. It could just be the coaching, but whatever it is, I hope these guys don't get messed by doing this.

You're correct on the subject at hand. I don't see the humor in many of his responses.

I'd keep an eye on that humorless one if I were you: Red China has been sending spies, traitors & now disease to these shores for years with impunity, Harvard being the willing gateway...

I haven't been following Team USA, but how the fuk does Jaylon Brown get left off the roster for Derrick White?

Also, regarding Nike, their sales are tanking. Sneakerheads are tired of their ********, terrible quality, rare release of retros, fake hype by resellers and lack of innovation. They are still the sneaker king, but other companies like Adidas, Asics, New Balance and ON to name a few are slowly picking away at the market share. They need to fire their CEO and get back to basics.

Because they realistically can’t, captain. No one worth a damn will sign for below minimum. I guess Andre Drummond was an option but he too would have had to sign for less.

Trading Jaylen Brown is pretty much the only realistic way to get a quality big. I don’t see that happening. They’ll have to pray Zinger comes back healthy in January and hope Kornet and Queta can spell Big Al for 20 minutes per game.

And during the season when some players get bought out the C’s won’t be able to sign anyone worth a damn then either.

Just giving you a heads up now so you’re not too disappointed after the trade deadline.

Agree. Bigs are hard to find.

Hauser was a good value. I think on the open market next year he’d get more. And we know he gels well with the team. In the second apron, would rather they spend on known commodity than risk of chemistry problem.

Would have been nice to see Cs draft a big, but I think you just can’t draft that way, need to take best player available.

Not much I can do with them on the left coast and us on the right coast. Ironically, when we first moved up to NH I was talking to my son on the phone and I passed a pretty long convoy of anti CCP vehicles on 93. The timing of it was kind of spooky.

Pretty much. Certainly having guys like Hakeem, Jokic, Shaq and Duncan help but if you have the perimeter talent in the way of scoring and defense all you need the big man to do is redirect shots, rebound and provide decent low post D when you need him to.

I don't view him as a true "big man" but is certainly a quality frontcourt reserve.
