I watched the replay in slo mo, and I didn’t think he actually blocked it (wasn’t awarded the block on the stat sheet either.) He clearly misdirected the shot though.White was incredible today but I have to ask - is that a legal play? He hadn't established himself inbounds when he blocked that shot from behind.
People starting to get it…
The two players most responsible for the team’s occasional struggles and failure to meet lofty expectations are LeBron James and Steph Curry.Kerr is a buffoon. Unless they are causing culture problems or hurt, there is no coaching value in sitting players an entire game.
I understand playing both Tatum and Embiid limited minutes the last 2 games based on the matchups..HOWEVER..Kerr is a buffoon. Unless they are causing culture problems or hurt, there is no coaching value in sitting players an entire game.
Exactly. DNP-CD is absurd.I understand playing both Tatum and Embiid limited minutes the last 2 games based on the matchups..HOWEVER..
..there is NO legit reason either should have been DNP.
To me, it looks like a case of The Coach trying to show who's boss, as in " I got more rings than you". Ok,Steve, it's been a while since you won a ring and you certainly ain't no Popovich. Coaches need to check their egos as well.
Trying to show them whose boss while being Steph Curry’s *****. Holiday and White are much better than Curry for this this team’s composition. Even Celtics haters are acknowledging this on Twitter.I understand playing both Tatum and Embiid limited minutes the last 2 games based on the matchups..HOWEVER..

Statistics after one or two games are statistically meaningless. The two players most responsible for the team’s occasional struggles and failure to meet lofty expectations are LeBron James and Steph Curry.
Curry looks old and cooked out there; he’s not athletic anymore to get by with even adequate defense.
LeBron is the biggest chemistry destroyer in NBA history. All the ball movement stops when he’s on the court. I just hate his game so much.
These two should be benched but Kerr is trying to act tough with other players instead.
Not in the Olympics, they're not.Statistics after one or two games are statistically meaningless.
Yeah and was the first game of the season…first game with the Celtics. Bad omen.I always think if he hadn't been hurt " what could've been". He was a helluva player before he got injured but never got back to that level again.
I know we shouldn't be greedy, we're the #1 all-time nba franchise.Yeah and was the first game of the season…first game with the Celtics. Bad omen.
For statistics to be valid, the number of events is important. The number of events is independent of the total number of events. The variance determines the number of events required. The greater the variance the more vents required for statistical relevance. Not in the Olympics, they're not.
This ain't the nba reg season, where I'd agree with you.
2 games is a large pct of the games they'll play in Paris
LMAO. I'm drunk( I NEVER get drunk,it's been many, many months) but I'm home sick with some nasty bug and couldn't do my usual 3-4 hour workouts so I got drunk cuz I'm pissed that I can't.For statistics to be valid, the number of events is important. Statistical relevance is not related to total number of possible events.
You can perform % of a whole at any time.
