Payton had Brees for his entire career except the year after Brees retired (9-8 with Jameis, Taysom and Simianh), then wussed out ("see my kids more" bull crap - they're around 22 and 25) and left because no more elite QB. We'll have another 60 page thread about was it Payton or Brees who was responsible for their success. Mr Bounty-PaperTowel is going to try to TB12 it and go to a stacked team to put them over the hump (like Chucky taking over for Dungy). No way Payton would follow up BB. Plus he still has 3 more years on his contract, so Pats would have to deal with compensation.Bring in Sean Payton to run our offense
Please FIRE Patricia
Agree it should've been picked off, but DB's are pretty bad at whipping their head around these days. McCourty was clueless when he was on an island with the Andrews TD. He's always been awful when he gets caught man to man.His passes hang in the air and fall short. We saw it last season in the Buffalo post season game and we saw it in Pittsburgh. The Steeler DB did not turn in time and Agholor fortunately reached down in front of the DB and got the ball for a TD.
He threw many passes that should've been picked off, but again the DB's look like the AI in Madden. Its not like Brady throwing to Moss to where Moss was the only guy who could get it unless the DB just made and unbelievable play.
No established coordinators want to work for him. In fact, Dom Capers was the last name coach working with the DB's in 2008 and he left the moment he got a better job in GB as a DC.So why wouldn't he hire real coordinators then?
I dont know if that's necessarily true, word was bill obrien was an option but BB didnt think he would stay around long, who knows if that's true or not. If no established coordinators want to work for him thats even more reason he needs to go. His act is wearing thin, his attitude with the media worked when they were winning , not so much anymore.Agree it should've been picked off, but DB's are pretty bad at whipping their head around these days. Bedard was a whiny moron today. And proved his own flawed science. First off he totally points out how Lil Jordan is basically replacing the one of the two TEs in our two TE package. And then *****es that it should be Bourne. If you want a 3 WR package just say that but don't point out exactly what Lil Jordans role is then complain about something completely different.Bedard was spot on today. Why do you force lil Jordan, a 500k player slow player, and you sit Bourne and Henry.... I guess they're smarter than the rest of the NFL

Problem two they literally asked him if he broke down if there is any success or good things from this Lil Jordan package and I'm paraphrasing but he said he did not even bother why would he do that. Basically admitting that all he is doing when he's reviewing film is trying to prove the narrative he's already set forth
I'm not a huge fan of the package either but I'm not going on the radio screaming about how bad it is during my film review session then saying that I didn't review the film of it.Sure go with lil Jordan. Who needs Henry who had 50 receptions last yr and 9 tds. Oh and we want to run so let's go with 3 wr. Lil Jordan is a journey man... It's a huge joke. And huge joke Bourne is limited. But I'll take your point over bedard
"Behind all the time"If they aren't scoring points then what does it matter? When you're behind all the time you're going to rack up more yards and interceptions because you have to push the ball down the field.
The first pick was a horrible call by Patricia.
You can get all worked up if you want. Bill said it himself stats are for losers. If we have 900 yards of offense a game and score 14 points and lose then who cares? We are 1-2 and anyone who actually watches the games can see our offense doesn't look right. There was some improvement against Baltimore as far as being able to move the ball but when you turn the ball over 4 times it negates it."Behind all the time"
-Never trailed against Pittsburgh
Baltimore i'll break it down for you so you can process it easily
-Never trailed by more than 1 score in the 1st half. Actually had a lead at 1 point in the 1st half and it finished 14-13
2nd half
-Pats come out and take the lead on the 1st drive 20-14
-Ravens then score 20-21
-Pats punt
-Ravens score 20-28
-Jones throws in an INT
-Pats defense holds then to 5 yards and a long FG 20-31
-Pats score 26-31
-Pats D gets a turnover
-Pats get in the red zone. Jones & Parker miscommunication. INT
-Pats D forces a punt
-STILL A 1 SCORE GAME with 6 min left in the 4th-
-Agholor has that long gain that would have set them up in or near the redzone. Fumble
-Ravens score 26-37
-Pats get 20 yards in garbage time
pal, you can't just spew $h!t. There are people that actually watch and analyze these games instead of coming up with HOT TAKEZ. Not like they were down 14+ since the 2nd quarter against them and never got closer. It wasn't until 1 minute left until they got some garbage time yards.
What an absolute brainlet take though. As if you wouldn't try to gain yards in games that were close or if you had the lead. Like what the f@¢k
JOG ON.
ps. I do like how you completely ignored the 3 & Out stat
What Bill said ten years ago about a completely different team doesn't automatically hold true to this team. When your in it every year and have the greatest QB of all time a few stats doesn't mean as much. When you are trying to build something from the ground up I see no problem in pointing out a few encouraging signs. You can get all worked up if you want. Bill said it himself stats are for losers. So try watching the games and not just checking PFF and NFL.com for stats. Maybe you will learn that your little bar graphs don't mean much when we are sitting at 1-2.
For me it is discouraging that we are putting up yards without points. If we finish 10th in offensive yardage this year but go 6-10 because we can' score 20 points a game then who cares? I don't want to turn into Indy where we are hanging participation banners I want this offense to start to show some progress and cohesion. What Bill said ten years ago about a completely different team doesn't automatically hold true to this team. The big reason is our turnovers. If we eliminate them, our offense will put up more points and we will start winning. That is the main problem with the offense and throw in untimely penalties as well. For me it is discouraging that we are putting up yards without points. Mac is young and it is hard to discount the fact there will be growing pains with him but his supporting cast is a very veteran group. A veteran offensive line outside of Strange and veteran TEs and receivers.Growing pains.
Should he hire old guys or new young guys?Agree it should've been picked off, but DB's are pretty bad at whipping their head around these days. McCourty was clueless when he was on an island with the Andrews TD. He's always been awful when he gets caught man to man.
