Absurd headline. Only himself to blame for highly suspicious, likely false accusations flung his way within 24 hours of becoming a Patriot? Only himself to blame for some non-controversial, private text messages that were leaked to the public by some lowlife journalists who proceeded to sensationalize their content? Why the hell should the Patriots care if he "texted his accuser"? Is this illegal? Is this relevant to football? Are the Patriots the morality police or a football team? Looks like they caved to external factors. And by "they" I'd speculate Kraft had a lot to do with cutting the All-Pro receiver.
