There is no question the TB12 brand isn't as lucrative, established or stands on it's own as the Jordan brand and it never will.

I don't think Tom is coming back just to keep the brand alive. With that said his return puts more water and fertilizer on the lawn in the hopes the root system grows a little more.

I agree with those who think wanted to play for another team and it wasn’t going to happen. Because he looks really frickin’ stupid right now. If this is the kind of attention he craves he needs a new agent or some PR coaching. Because now it looks like he couldn’t stand being around his family after barely two months. Either that or he literally has no other interest in life than playing football, which is a bit pathetic.

I've always said that retirement was going to be torture for Brady. He knows nothing else and loves basking in the spotlight. His humility is just a veneer.

Nah other than the Saints they're sweeping the division. They'll beat SF-Arizona and Seattle. They'll beat Green Bay so I can see 11 plus wins. Even in his worst seasons Brady never finished below .500 I don't see why you think so this time.

Good, now there is another cance the Brady/Gronk touchdown combo can beat the Manning/Harrison totals. I think the combined regular and post season for Manning/Harrison is 114 and Brady/Gronk is (maybe) at 105. Oh and it was obvious that halfhearted retirement was a play to go to another team.Paid no attention to all the tearful farewell podcasts and posts At the time I doubted his retirement remembering how Gronk retired and then came back to play elsewhere. I had questioned on the forum is this an official retirement or a Gronk retirement? Arians stopped that though. He said recently they would not let him go and to trade him they would want three firsts.

Their home games against New Orleans, Baltimore, GB, cincy, KC, and the rams are no gimmes. And on the road they have SF, NO, Arizona, and Dallas, which will be tough as well. Certainly last years schedule was easier.

If he was going to "force" his way off of an unwilling team, that was always going to be a long-term thing. It was going to require the Bucs paying out to get a quality replacement QB.

So Brady unretiring before the QB carousel was done would at least seem to indicate that your take is incorrect.
